Well, here are shots from my first time shooting football. I shot these with a Nikon D70s and the Nikkor f2.8 80-200mm lens. These were fun to shoot from the sideline and football involves a lot of movement and requires the use of a monopod. Here are the first few shots from this game which Marist won versus Iona. The final score was 28-7.
There were some issues getting camera to focus on action, but this should be less of an issue with the use of the D300 and also with more experience. I may not get the chance to shoot football again until next year, but this one game was fun. I'll put the rest of the photos in my next post.
