Rinaldi Flea Market

The Rinaldi Markets are a flea market started by Bill Rinaldi, far right, in Poughkeepsie.

People swarmed a van that was known to have "the Goods".

Bright and early, armed with cameras and caffeine.

We met many characters including Chip who has been involved with Flea Markets for 50 years and sells custom-made carpets.
The Market was also an international affair from a Yugoslavian man selling DVDs to a Mexican family making tacos and sopes.

Where were you at 5am on Mother's Day? Well, Robin and I got up and took these pictures. I think it was worth it!

Another year, another massive amount of photos...

In March I shot my first baseball game when Marist played Siena. This is one of my favorite captures from that game.

Last week, I attended the retirement party of Professor Fahey. I took a ton of pictures and the light was interesting due to the fact it was in the Henry Hudson room which has many windows and it was late afternoon.

These photos are from the Brock's Farm in Schagticoke, NY. These are just a small sample of the many photos I took at this beautiful location.

Well, I've decided to start posting to this blog again. I have lots of interesting photos from the last year I would love to share. I'm supposed to be writing a final right now, but instead. Here's a small treat! Enjoy!

Montezuma Bird Sanctuary...

This area of preserved ground sees many different birds throughout the seasons depending on migration patterns and weather. The day we went there were not too many birds around, but I took a few photos on our hike. Here are two I liked...

Band and BBQ...

After spending the last six months hunkered down at home in Tampa, Florida I have flown the coop once again to upstate NY and just in time for the good weather. I'm currently wrapping things up at my house in Poughkeepsie and then headed up to the Adirondacks to work for the summer. Last week I visited the Finger Lakes Region to see my sister graduate from Wells College in Aurora, NY. Here are a few pictures from an afternoon BBQ during senior week. The band was great, the food hearty and weather impeccable. Enjoy!
